Greenberg Traurig Hosts Portugal Delegation to Foster Collaboration in Medtech, Life Sciences, and Technology

Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s global Life Sciences & Medical Technology Group held a Portugal Stakeholder Breakfast that brought together a delegation of government leaders and trade representatives from Portugal with relevant stakeholders in the Boston area to discuss collaboration between Portugal and Boston in the medtech, life sciences, and technology sectors.

Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s global Life Sciences & Medical Technology Group held a Portugal Stakeholder Breakfast that brought together a delegation of government leaders and trade representatives from Portugal with relevant stakeholders in the Boston area to discuss collaboration between Portugal and Boston in the medtech, life sciences, and technology sectors. The event was held Feb. 21 in the firm’s Boston office.

The breakfast aimed to foster cooperation and create synergies between U.S. and Portuguese entrepreneurs, companies, investors, and research institutions. Participants engaged with Portugal stakeholders in the technology and life sciences sectors to explore opportunities for investment, new business development, and R&D collaboration.

Featured speakers included Fezas Vital, Portugal Ambassador to the U.S. Domingos, and Robert A. Sherman, former U.S. Ambassador to Portugal and senior counsel in Greenberg Traurig’s Boston office. David J. Dykeman, patent attorney, co-chair of the global Life Sciences & Medical Technology Group and co-managing shareholder of the firm’s Boston office, gave introductory remarks.
