SAF West offers Pickup and Delivery service for its customers in Sacramento and the Bay Area

In April of 2019, SAF West began offering a shuttle service using a 24′ flatbed truck for pick-up and delivery.
What was initially planned to be a weekly service has been so successful that SAF’s truck is making the trip twice every week, and more often when demand warrants. Trips originate from SAF’s Redding location, which is 150 miles north of Sacramento.
SAF has delivered to customers as far south as San Jose, Morgan Hill, and Stockton. SAF’s shuttle can deliver up to 10,000 lbs of aluminum sheet, extrusion, and fabricated material. Toll finishing customers who need to have their material anodized at SAF can also request pickups.
SAF has always covered the freight on all sheet and extrusion orders over 100 lbs., and that is still true even if we ship the material on our truck. They will quote toll finishing customers a reasonable freight based on distance from Redding and the size of the load.
The 80+ customers who have already taken advantage of this shuttle since April especially like the friendly service, 100% damage-free record so far, and quick turnaround on toll finishing orders.
