Buo dapat matanggap ng MSME workers ang 13th month pay
SOLON HAILS DOLE STANCE ON 13TH MONTH PAY,
RENEWS CALL FOR 50 PERCENT OF MINIMUM WAGE AS
GOV’T SUBSIDY OF 13th MONTH PAY
Nagpapasalamat kami sa DOLE sa desisyon nitong pagtibayin ang bisa ng batas ukol sa 13th month pay.
Nagagalak rin kami na pinag-aaralan na ng DOLE kung paano mabibigyan ng subsidy o ayuda ang micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) para mabigyan ng mga maliliit na negosyong ito, sa tulong ng gobyerno, ang 13th month pay.
Ang panukala namin ukol dito ay kahit man lang sana 50% of minimum wage bilang reference point ng government subsidy for 13th month pay.
Kailangang matanggap nang BUO ng mga manggagawa ang kanilang 13thpay.
Para klaro ganito kasimple ang iminumungkahi naming computation:
Daily minimum wage rate in the region multiplied by days of work present multiplied by 50 percent = AMOUNT OF GOV’T SUBSIDY
Yung sagot dyan, ang amount ng subsidy na ibibigay ng gobyerno upang maging magaaan para sa MSMEs ang pagbibigay ng BUONG 13th month pay sa mga manggagawa.
Maraming wellness enterprises ay maliliit na negosyo at marami sa kanila ay lubhang naapektuhan ng pandemic at community quarantines.
Malaking tulong sa wellness sector ang 13th month pay para sa kanilang mga empleyado at ang pagpapaluwag ng restrictions sa community quarantines.
I ask the IATF to please consider allowing wellness spas to reopen for business especially in areas under MGCQ and where there are zero active COVID-19 cases, but with all the necessary minimum health standards and protocols.
The wellness spas have suffered greatly because of the pandemic and community quarantines. I believe they can safely attend to their clients with all the proper safety protocols. (END)
