Medika International to distribute Cranberry Peak’s ezCDS clinical decision support in Puerto Rico

Cranberry Peak, a leading company in AI, conversational interfaces, and clinical decision support technology is announcing a distribution agreement with Medika International. Under this agreement, Cranberry Peak’s product, ezCDS will be distributed and serviced by Medika International in Puerto Rico.
ezCDS is a CMS qualified clinical decision support mechanism (CDSM) for the Appropriate Use Criteria Program (AUC), supporting the implementation of Protecting Access to Medicare Act of 2014 (PAMA). Specifically, under this program, ordering physicians will be required to consult a CDSM for advanced diagnostic imaging orders. In addition to facilitating evidence based medicine and standards of care at the point of care, ezCDS is also transforming user experience in healthcare, aiming at reducing physician burnout; by introducing the first AI digital assistant serving ordering physicians, with voice and conversational interface. With state of the art FHIR RESTful APIs and CDS Hooks, ezCDS enables an effective interoperability approach, supporting multiple workflow scenarios.
