LTFRB to taxi drivers: Do not overcharge fares, refuse passengers
MANILA, Dec. 28 (PNA) — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) is warning taxi drivers that their licenses will be cancelled if they overcharge fare, contract or refuse passengers.
The LTFRB also directed taxi operators to supervise/monitor their drivers and that it reserves the right to suspend or cancel their certificates of public convenience.
The public is advised to send their complaints with details such as location, nature of complaint, picture, etc. and assures that these will be addressed by the agency.
