Edgenuity’s Next Generation Science Suite named Best STEM/STEAM Education Tool by the Tech Edvocate Awards

Edgenuity announced today that its Next Generation Science Suite has been named the winner of Best STEM/STEAM Education App or Tool by this year’s Tech Edvocate Awards.

Edgenuity, a leading provider of online curriculum and instructional services for the K-12 market, announced today that its Next Generation Science Suite has been named the winner of Best STEM/STEAM Education App or Tool by this year’s Tech Edvocate Awards, which honor the best in education technology by recognizing outstanding companies, people and products.

Edgenuity’s rigorous and engaging Next Generation Science curriculum emphasizes the application of scientific thinking to real world issues and challenges, preparing students to think and reason scientifically. The Next Generation Science Suite for grades six through twelve is a comprehensive solution that supports teachers, schools and districts in helping all students become competitive and includes vital courses such as: Life Science, Earth Science, Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science and Physics.

“Edgenuity is proud to provide a comprehensive science curriculum to help students prepare for lifelong success in the STEM fields at a pace and style that works for them,” said Edgenuity CEO Sari Factor. “Research has shown that it’s critical to support students in developing problem-solving skills, making sense of information independently, and learning to gather and evaluate evidence as part of decision-making. These skills, and others, are developed through a STEM education and our Next Generation Science Suite.”

Edgenuity was also named a finalist by the Tech Edvocate Awards for Best Learning Management System. Additionally, Edgenuity’s Pathblazer and Courseware solutions were each named finalists in the categories of Best Literacy App or Tool and Best Math App or Tool.

The third annual Tech Edvocate Awards were presented by The Edvocate, which was created in 2014 to promote shifts in education policy and organization in order to enhance the quality of education and the opportunities for learning afforded to students in America. The finalists and winners were selected by a panel comprised of: two edtech thought leaders; two PreK-12 teachers; one college professor; two K-12 administrators; one college administrator; and two PreK-12 parents.
