Zambo solon marks 2016 last working day with inauguration of PhP 134.85-M projects

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Dec. 30 (PNA) — First District Representative Celso Lobregat on Thursday marked his last for 2016 with the inauguration of 16 infrastructure projects worth PhP 134.85 – million in nine villages in his district.

The first congressional district covers 37 of this city’s 98 villages. The first district is locally known as the west coast.

Officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and official of the recipient villages joined Lobregat in inaugurating the projects one after the other.

These included the following: five road projects ( PhP 112.287-M; six drainage system (PhP 14.495-M); one flood control system (PhP 2.833-M); three multi-purpose building (PhP 3.339-M; and a bridge (P1.903-M).

The recipient communities are as follows: road projects, Capisan and La Paz; drainage system, Baliwasan, Campo Islam, Maasin, San Roque, Sta. Maria, and Tumaga; multi-purpose building, Campo Islam and Recodo; and, bridge, La Paz.

Lobregat advised both village officials and their respective constituents to put to good use the projects given them.

He also advised the village officials to report to work early and serve more than the official working time if needed. (PNA)
