Polysense Announces Infrared Thermal Temperature Screening WxS x810-IRTM, enabling fast temperature monitoring of both mobile population and fixed locations

Powered by the same IoT edge computing technology, WxS x800-IRTM and WxS x800-IRTMS allows global agencies and communities to effectively handle any public health emergency, meeting the urgent requirements for populations temperature screening at this corona virus or Flu public healths period

Polysense Technologies Inc., (Polysense) an innovation leader in IoT solutions for wireless sensing, today announced smart human body temperature infrared touch-free monitoring product family, a standalone thermal meter WxS x800-IRTMS, and an IoT big data based self-calibrated thermal meter WxS x800-IRTM, supporting flexible wireless uplink for cloud connectivity such as NB-IoT, Wi-Fi, LoRaWAN, and 4G LTE,
“Temperature is the most common parameter in nature. Temperature measurement of human body or objects is a critical indicator of the underlying situation.” said Alex Wu, President of Polysense. “In particular, public health emergency management process typically requires the fast measurement of such temperature as a means of overall assessment or screening.”

The product family comes with two versions:
(1)The wireless version, product model WxS x800-IRTM, sends collected temperature data over a flexible wireless uplink to the cloud dashboard and smart phone APP for both real time and historical charting, trend monitoring, hot spot monitoring. In addition, local temperature is also displaced on local LCD, and sound/light alarm if any individual with high temperature is detected.
(2)The stand alone version, product model WxS x810-IRTMS, provides a plug and play installation. Setup can be done within 5 minutes on the local keypad. Wireless is disabled. Only local LCD display and local sound/light alarm are enabled for easy operation and fast drop-in deployment anywhere with a power source such as school entrance, building entrance, public transit or anywhere a temperature screening is needed.

Advanced Features
Smart Infrared touch-free Thermal Meter for populations temperature screening, for public transit (such as airport, railway station, school, shopping mall) at building entrances

  • Simple Solutions: Thermal Meter + height adjustable Tripod
  • LCD display, sound+light alarm
  • Touch free remote temperature reading
  • High distance/target spot ratio
  • 0℃ to + 85℃ measurement range
  • Fast temperature reading acquisition: 1 second
  • 0.1C resolution; +/- 0.5℃ accuracy
  • Min/Max, Differential, Average, Hi/Low alarms, and continuous scan
