RS21 Expands Senior Leadership Team

Emily Hunt Neilson Joins Data Science and Visualization Company as Director of Strategic Markets

RS21, a global data science and visualization company, welcomes Emily Hunt Neilson to the leadership team as Director of Strategic Markets.

Mrs. Neilson brings 14 years of experience in government and private sector consulting, specializing in organizational resilience, business continuity management, and crisis management. She will lead RS21’s strategic market development efforts, defining market opportunities and product requirements.

Mrs. Neilson joins RS21 at a significant time as the company has grown 411% in the past year and continues to quickly expand and develop its products and capabilities to support government, urban resilience, healthcare, national laboratories and the private sector.

Mrs. Neilson is certified as a Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP) by the Disaster Recovery Institute International and holds a Master’s in International Relations from American University and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from UNC-Chapel Hill. Prior to joining RS21, she led Deloitte Middle East’s Resilience and Crisis Management practice across 15 Middle Eastern countries and was a Senior Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton. She most recently served as the Risk and Resilience Director at DuPont Sustainable Solutions.
