Brazing and heat treating experts from Thermal-Vac Technology will be exhibiting at the WESTEC 2019 trade show taking place at the Long Beach Convention Center, September 24-26. As a long-time leader in high-end brazing techniques, Thermal-Vac is looking forward to making new connections with other Southern California businesses and learning about the next wave of technological change that will drive its industry in new directions.

WESTEC 2019 will bring together many of the biggest names in the Southern California manufacturing industry along with their critical suppliers on the west coast. With conventional manufacturing, aerospace and high technology booming in the region, the show promises to be a dynamic opportunity to explore cutting edge developments and innovations. The show expects to draw more than 10,000 attendees.

Thermal-Vac’s services are unique in the brazing and heat treating industry. They offer cradle-to-grave service, with an in-house team of eight engineers ready to help customers analyze and resolve complex manufacturing challenges from the design stage onward. The company’s history of service to Southern California’s aerospace industry includes work on the Space Shuttle and NASA’s new Space Launch System program, as well as providing precision solutions for major defense manufacturers.

Despite its unique position, Thermal-Vac has kept a low profile over the years. Director of Sales Ashley Staack will be among the company’s representatives at WESTEC. “We’re working hard to expand our engagement with the industry,” she said. Thermal-Vac is committed to being a resource not just for its customers, but also for machine shops and other brazing and heat treating shops that want to learn more about brazing techniques.

Staack is looking forward to WESTEC in part because it is a regionalized show. “We’re excited to get our name out there,” she said. Innovators in many industries, from medical devices to specialty truck suspensions, turn to Thermal-Vac for technical expertise that is not available from other shops. Building new, local relationships at WESTEC is a big part of the company’s goal at the show.

Thermal-Vac will also be at WESTEC to learn. From its origin as a vacuum brazing shop, the company has grown its scope of capabilities to meet the needs of customers. The company recently added copper plating to its scope to solve a key customer’s challenges in that area. At WESTEC Thermal-Vac will be eager to hear about the solutions that are needed in sectors undergoing rapid technological change, like additive manufacturing.

Thermal-Vac will be located at WESTETC booth number 2346. The company invites anyone interested in learning more about its involvement at WESTEC or about its services to call them at (714) 997-2601 or to email [email protected].
