New CFO brings extensive senior leadership experience to fast-growing water and wastewater utility.
ST. LOUIS (PRWEB) MAY 04, 2020
As part of its continued growth efforts, St. Louis-based Central States Water Resources (CSWR) today announced the addition of former Gardner Capital and BW Forsyth Partners executive Marty Moore as chief financial officer (CFO).
“We’re thrilled to add an executive leader of Marty’s caliber,” said CSWR President Josiah Cox. “Our growth in recent years has been rapid. His addition will enhance our efforts in fundamentally addressing one of our country’s greatest infrastructure needs.”
Moore most recently led finance and corporate services as CFO of Gardner Capital, a national affordable housing and renewable energy developer, investor and tax credit syndicator. He has an extensive background in mergers and acquisitions and will work alongside Cox in accelerating the company’s already rapid growth trajectory.
“I’m honored to join an organization that is working across the country to help so many communities gain access to clean, safe and reliable water resources,” said Moore. “It’s thrilling to work with a chief executive like Josiah and our board of directors. And as someone who believes in the value of strong organizational cultures, I’m incredibly excited to work with the talented people at CSWR as we examine capitalization opportunities, accelerate growth and further build out our team.”
Moore’s extensive senior-level finance and operational experience includes serving as CFO of international automation equipment manufacturer Baldwin Technology Co., a company he helped Barry-Wehmiller/Forsyth Capital take private in 2012. Prior, Moore held senior leadership positions with Summit Marketing, Consolidated Terminals, Barnhill’s Buffet Inc., and Global Materials Services. He began his career at Arthur Andersen.
Moore is past-Board President of the Association for Corporate Growth, past-Board Chairman of Gateway to Hope and serves on other Boards in the St Louis community. He is a graduate of Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas.
