ENCO Pharmaceutical Development, Inc. (EPDI) announces the addition of PIC (Powder-in-Capsule) Clinical Filling capabilities.

The addition of this new service catapults EPDI into the CDMO space. This capability opens doors with existing clients allowing them to expand our interactions to include this important new option. PIC Clinical Filling capability further increases EPDI’s customer base to include companies seeking to take advantage of the cost savings of a PIC approach.

EPDI expanded its facilities in Jacksonville FL to include a manufacturing suite that incorporates multiple filling stations in a controlled environment. EPDI built a team with pharmaceutical manufacturing experience to maintain the integrity of the organization’s high quality standards, science, and technical skills.

“We are excited to offer this new service”, said Mr. Richard Camp, President of ENCO Pharmaceutical Development, Inc. “It represents an expansion into a space we have planned to enter for some time. Our clients told us that they would like us to move into this area. We listened to them and now offer this service. In fact, we have already successfully completed our first PIC project and others are already lining up.”

“We’ve understood the importance of providing a broader array of services”, said Keith Hurley, Vice President of Business Development and Marketing. “The addition of these services exemplifies our dedication to our clients and the industry especially in the fast growing area of Powder-in-Capsule filling.

EPDI continues to expand its facilities and capabilities to accommodate the growing needs of the pharmaceutical, animal health care, and medical device industries.
