Polysense Announces fast temperature screening solution with thermal imaging and image recognition for high volume public population

Following the infrared Thermal temperature screening WxS x800-IRTM and the IRTMPad for conditional facility access control, the 3rd product series is now available for fast and volume temperature screening to re-open the economy

Polysense Technologies Inc., (Polysense) an innovation leader in IoT solutions for wireless sensing, today announced , a thermal imaging and image recognition based product series for businesses and public agencies to quickly and efficiently screen the temperature of high volume public traffic.

“Temperature is the leading and basic indicator of a person’s health condition.” said Alex Wu, President of Polysense. “as many countries are in the process of re-opening the economy, to avoid the possible 2nd wave of pandemic, temperature screening of public traffic is now required at businesses, public transit (airport, subways), distribution centers, grocery stores, restaurants, hospitals, schools, senior care centers and even at residential complexes. ”

Common deployment scenarios:
1)WxS IRTM is most ideal for businesses and places where people (employees or visitors or customers) typically enter the facility one by one, in a linear line. Each person stands in front of the IRTM screening unit (non contact) for 1 or 2 seconds to get temperature reading – alert is sounded if fever is detected
2)WxS IRTMPad is suitable for facility access control based on the temperature reading. If the person has normal reading, access is allowed; otherwise, is denied. The output of the IRTMPad can be easily connected to existing key card building access system via interface such as Wiegand, TTL, RS232.
3)The thermal imaging product, announced here, is for installations where public traffic volume is high, moving rapidly and perhaps in non-linear format. This is common in shopping malls, large commercial buildings, banks, airports, subways, hospitals, schools, grocery stores, or restaurants.
